how to survive the flu season
We go trough the flu (and definitely cold) season every year. This time lasts (mostly) from November to March and can be really terrible.
Surely the cold weather and the epidemy are reasons for a cold and a flu but there is one more psychosomatic reason for illness. Once you got a cold means that you are absolutely tired. Your body clames for a rest and doesn't want to do anything. So if you got a cold just try to have a good rest, relax and enjoy this "passive" time with a cup of ginger - lemon tea and honey.
Got a flu is worse and has deeply reason than tiredness. The reason for a flu is blocking (physically or emoitonally). Blocking in this case means that you are avoiding something really important for you because of fear or anger or for the sake of others. It looks like "I am to weak to do that so I won't" or "I am never lucky enough" or "you offended me so I stop". Every time we block ourselves our immune system turns to weak and viruses attack that and feel in the body like at home.
We can spend time and money for the prevention and the cure and it is important but if we do not stop block ourselves or work (study, exercise) much more than we need we meet cold and flu every season as our good friends.
Take good care of yourself, drink a lot of liquid, eat fruits and wear red socks (red and orange stimulate the immune system and make it stronger) and create a list for things that you block or might block so you will be able to work on it and stay healthy during the flu season.
